Board and Train

3 Week Board & Train

Let Inclusion K9 lay the foundation

Feeling a little overwhelmed with training your dog? Let Inclusion K9 lay the foundation for you and take the guesswork out of training your dog with our board & train program.

Our board & train program is designed to get your dog proficient in obedience commands and into a calmer state of mind so they can make better choices surrounding their prior triggers. This board & train program is home-based, meaning your dog is in a home and treated as part of the family, not in a sterile facility environment. What better way to train a dog for real-life situations than having the dog train around them 24/7.

These are the things we will work on while your dog is here:

Note: Depending on the severity of the reactivity, additional board & train week/s may need to be added.

The board & train program includes:

We come and pick your dog up. We realize your time is valuable. Let us take care of that part for you. Extra mileage charge outside of 25 miles. We can absolutely meet at a ‘halfway’ point as well.

  • You get a total of 6 hours of training sessions.

  • (2) 2-hour training sessions after the dog completes the training program. These are scheduled on back-to-back days.
  • The locations of these training sessions will be discussed as your dog nears the end of his stay with us. This is because some dogs are able to have a lot more public access toward the end of their stay, depending on how the dog has progressed in the training and length of stay with us.

  • You also have another 2-hour follow-up session to use whenever you need. This follow-up session never expires as long as the dog lives.

  • Once you train with Inclusion K9, you’re part of the family. If you’re struggling with something, don’t hesitate to reach out, and we can troubleshoot it via phone or email. Videos are always helpful as we can better guide you when seeing the behavior/situation. If you’re still struggling, we can set up a private lesson at a discounted rate. *Discounted rate for private lessons is only for previous board & train clients.

Board & Train Policy

All payments must be made in full to secure your dog’s reservation. PAYMENT IS NONREFUNDABLE.

Price includes ecollar, long line, prong collar with 6ft leash OR slip-lead. Some dogs work better on a prong, and others on a slip-lead. We will suss that out for you and send whichever tool worked best for your dog while it stayed with us.

Sometimes dogs with severe behavior issues require additional week/s in order to set them up for success. Usually, this is discussed as being a possibility prior to the dog coming into the program. That way there are no surprises should your dog need an extra week.

5 Week Board and Train - $5000

This program is designed for dogs that have a high level of fear/anxiety or are dog/human aggressive.

Training challenging dogs goes beyond basic commands—it’s a more intense process requiring time to shape new behaviors. How much progress your dog makes in this program depends on many factors, with a lot of it being how long these behaviors have been practiced. Our goal is always to help your dog coexist in real-world situations. We can’t predict the full extent they’ll be able to interact with dogs and people until we start, but we’ll provide honest feedback during and after training about your dog’s immediate limits. Our focus is on realistic expectations and working together to bring out the best in your dog’s behavior.

Puppy Hybrid

Have a puppy between 4-6 months of age? This program is for you!

With the puppy hybrid program, we start you off with a private lesson or two in your own home, and then the puppy comes to stay with us for a week. Once the puppy is more mature (usually 6-9 months of age), they come back to finish up the training program with a two-week stay where we lay the off-leash training foundation.

Your puppy learns everything in our regular board & train program. It’s just broken up to let the puppy’s brain mature.

Price includes everything our regular board & train offers.
